A friend said in an email:
"At the BAR-B-Q, I only heard one very minor expression of disappointment from the lips of a venerable English lady. I offered to get her coffee and she gently replied:
"Dear young man, I have been living in Brazil for a number of years, but drinking coffee is still not 'my cup of tea'!
